My dad`s a picture

Some childeren were so young when their fathers went to war, in 1939 that they only remembered them from the framed photographs their mothers kept.

One little girl was just four when her father came back from the war. Her mother had taken her to Cambridge railway station to meet him and kept reminding her that he would hae legs - a friend of hers who had not seen photos of her father until he had arried home had said, on the first seeing him, ´He`s not my father. He`s got legs.`
