Minding our own business
When Peter saw him (John), he said to Jesus, Lord, what about this men? Jesus said to him, If I want him to stay (surrvie, live) until I come, what is that to you? (What concern is it of yours?) You follow me!
John 21:22,22
Jesus was talking with Peter about the hardshipshe would hae to endure in order to sere and glorify Him. As soon as Jesus finished speaking, Peter turned, spotted John and immediately asked Jesus what His will was for him. Peter wanted to make sure that if he was going to go through rough times, so would John. Jesus politely told Perter to mind his own business.
You should be encouraged and take hope in the fact that Jeus` disciples struggled with manxy of the same things you do. Jealousy, eny, and comparing yourself with others is childish. As with the disciples, Jesus has great patience with you.
